“Toast to the Children”: Hosted by Top Chef’s Tom Colicchio this Tuesday April 29th, 2014. Here top restaurants, chefs, and food vendors will gather along with food and wine lovers to have one incredible evening. This annual gala raises money the pediatric programs at Bellevue Hospital. This event is one of New York City’s premier food and wine tasting events.
Tickets are $500 for a VIP ticket, which grants admission to a VIP hour with special cocktails and champagne and a special VIP gift bag, and $300 for a general admission ticket.
A generous portion of the ticket price is tax-deductible; all proceeds go directly to the pediatric programs that serve the children and families at Bellevue Hospital Center.
This year’s list of participating restaurants includes: Barbuto, Colicchio & Sons, CraftBar, Craft New York, Fairway, Frankies Spuntino, Hearth, Chef Kenny Callaghan, Kin Shop, Pearl Oyster Bar, Peasant, Public, Rappahannock River Oysters, Riverpark, ‘wichcraft.
Wine pairings will be selected by John Burns-Paterson of Craftbar, Greg Majors, of Craft, along with Ryan Mills-Knapp where there will be a special tasting station featuring the wines of Mendocino.
ZYR Vodka and Bombay Sapphire will be serving special cocktails, champagne will be provided by Frederick Wildman and Sons, and Stumptown Coffee will be serving coffee during the dessert tastings.
