Wednesday October 4th is National Vodka Day! If you’re seeking some cool, refreshing, and fun vodka cocktails for this fun day, then you’ve come to the right blog. Below are some great vodka cocktails that will have you celebrating National Vodka Day the right way!

American Harvest Grapefruit Greyhound- by Sara Lehman, Sommelier & Lifestyle Director of One Sixty Madison. 

2.5 oz American Harvest Organic Vodka
4 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
1.5 oz Rosemary Simple Syrup
TT (about 1/2oz) Lime Juice

Method:  In a shaker, combine vodka, grapefruit juice, simple syrup and a squeeze of lime juice. Top with ice and shake until well chilled. Pour contents with ice into glass, and garnish with rosemary sprig.

2oz Koskenkorva Vodka

1oz Fresh Lime Juice

.75oz Simple Syrup

2 Cucumber Wheels

3 Dashes Celery Bitters

Coarse Ground Pepper & Salt

Method: Combine all ingredients, except the salt in a tin. Shake until well chilled. Pour ingredients into a highball glass, and garnish with cucumber and a pinch of salt.

1.5oz Koskenkorva Vodka

.5oz Lemon Juice

.5oz Simple Syrup

3 Blackberries

2 Sage Leaves

3oz Chilled Champagne

Method- Muddle blackberries and roll sage into your hands. Add all ingredients to tin except the champagne. Shake until well chilled, pour into a high ball glass or champagne flute, and top with champagne. Garnish with a blackberry and sage leaf.

1.5oz Koskenkorva Vodka

1.5oz Caffe Borghetti

2oz Kerrygold Irish Cream

Method- Place ice into a double old fashioned glass. Add the vodka and Borghetti to the glass. Top with Kerrygold. Garnish with fresh cinnamon, nutmeg, or your favorite spice.

1.5oz Koskenkorva Vodka

.5oz Lemon Juice

.5oz Simple Syrup

4 Raspberries

1 Egg White (optional)

TT Soda Water

Method: Muddle raspberries and add all ingredients except soda water. Shake until well chilled and double strain into a glass. Top with soda water and garnish with a raspberry.
