Spring cleaning can mean many different things to people. For me, it’s important that during the transition from winter to spring, that I cleanse my kitchen and bring in some new cleaning supplies. As a woman, living in a small NYC apartment with roommates, it’s crucial that we keep things clean. As a Chef and Recipe Developer, it’s even more crucial that I keep my kitchen and dishes clean. I recently tried out a cool product called Bump It Off, and was impressed by the durability, and usability of these unique and colorful cleaning tools.
On the box, you will notice that Bump It Off is great for clothes, pets, and dishes. This fun tool is a reusable silicone sleeve that fits on your hand enabling you to concentrate scrubbing power wherever you need it. With gentle silicone bristles on one side and smooth bumps on the other, Bump it Off has countless cleaning uses in every room of your home! I chose to use mine on both dishes as well as on my pet. Why my pet? Well for starters I have a Shih Tzu who’s hair picks up anything and everything off the floor (including food). Since she’s always begging me and following me around the house and kitchen, I tend to find tiny crumbs in her fur sometimes, and use Bump It Off to comb them out before bed time. It works really well and she thinks she’s getting a nice massage!
I also really love using this product when I have girls nights, and someone spills wine on the couch or on their clothes. It happens, and when it does, I use some organic fabric friendly soap + my Bump It Off (purple color for wine) and scrub that wine stain right out! I also use this product on some pots and pans that get cheese and sugar caked on them. I find that when things get caked on, Bump It Off scrubs it off. Scrubbing a pan with caked on food was never fun… until I discovered these very comfortable and colorful silicone hand held scrubbers.
Spring is here and it’s time to scrub your way to a healthier and happier season. Be sure to check out these fun silicone scrubbers, which make a great gift for Mother’s Day!
