Yes… it’s still winter. Have no fear however because in winter there are plenty of wonderful holidays to celebrate and great cocktails to keep you entertained through them all. With the Super Bowl and Valentines Day approaching, it’s time to step up your cocktail game a bit and sip some of these lovely options.
Frozen Terrain: Created by Whitney Morrow, Beverage Director at Drumbar, Chicago
1 part elit Vodka
½ part St. George Terroir Gin
¾ part Lillet Blanc
¼ part pear liqueur
1 cinnamon ice cube**
Method: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir. Strain into a rocks glass over a 2” x 2” cinnamon ice cube. *Cinnamon Ice Cube: place 7 sticks of cinnamon into 3 cups of water and bring to a boil. Place into large format ice tray with one sprig of rosemary and a thinly sliced piece of pear. Freeze.

¾ part elit Vodka
½ part cranberry syrup
¼ part lemon
2 dashes orange bitters
Method: Shake with ice and strain into coupe or flute, top with bubbles and add an orange twist.

1oz vodka
.5oz elderflower liqueur
2oz grapefruit juice
.5oz vanilla syrup
Sparkling Ice Essence of Water
Rosemary sprig, for garnish
Grapefruit slice, for garnish
Method: Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Combine vodka, elderflower liqueur, grapefruit juice, and vanilla syrup- shake until cold. Strain into an ice filled glass and float with Unflavored Sparkling Ice. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and grapefruit slice then serve.
Raspberry Peach Prosecco Punch: Courtesy of Santa Margherita
12 oz. frozen raspberries
2 cups peach nectar, chilled
1 bottle of Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore DOCG, chilled
Ice
Method: Place frozen raspberries in a large glass pitcher or bowl. Top with the peach nectar and Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore DOCG. Fill remainder of the pitcher with ice cubes. Stir and serve cold.

2 parts MAGNUM
1 small scoop vanilla ice cream
Chocolate syrup to taste
Method: Vigorously blend to smooth consistency, pour into a tall glass and enjoy.

1 part MAGNUM
1 part espresso
1 part vodka
Method: Vigorously shake, pour into a martini glass and garnish with a peppermint stick.
