It’s National Margarita Day on February 22nd! For those of you who like to prepare cocktails at home like me, here are the top Margarita recipes to fuel you for another national drinking day!

rokz Ginger Vanilla Mezcal-Rita: by Sara Lehman

*I am inspired by eggwhite cocktails and absolutely love adding an egg white to the comforting flavors of ginger and vanilla. This smooths out the bite in the mezcal, and overall elevates the cocktail!

1 rokz Ginger Vanilla Margarita Spirits Infusion

1pt Mezcal (I used Kimo Sabe)

1 Egg White

1oz Ginger Simple Syrup

1oz Lime Juice

Method: Place 1pt of Mezcal into your rokz bottle. Wait 2-4 days, shaking 1-2x/day to infuse the spirit with the rokz infusions. After you have your desired infusion, place all ingredients including egg white into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and strain over new ice in a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime if desired.

Mandarina Rosa- By adding a little pink sea salt on the rim and including a tangerine juice, it’ll almost make this margarita illuminate!  

2 parts Tres Agaves Blanco Tequila

2 part Fresh Squeezed Tangerine Juice

1 part Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

Method: Rim glass with pink sea salt. Shake all ingredients together; double strain and serve straight-up in a martini or coupe glass. Garnish with a tangerine twist.

Habanero Hell Fire- When whipping up this margarita, the “holiday” is bound to get a little caliente.

2 parts Tres Agaves Reposado Tequila

2 parts Pear Puree

2 dashes Habanero Bitters

1 part Tres Agaves Agave Nectar

Seeds of 1 Jalapeno pepper, muddled

Method: Rim glass with black pepper and salt. Then muddle seeds of Jalapeno pepper in a pre-rimmed margarita glass. Pour remaining ingredients in a glass, top off with ice and stir.


Ginger con Hielo- Not a fan of margarita on the rocks? Forget the ice– freeze your margarita mix instead!

Tres Agaves Margarita Mix (to fill ice cube tray)

¼ parts Triple Sec

Candied Ginger

2 parts Tres Agaves Reposado Tequila

Method: For the ice cube, mix together Triple Sec and Margarita Mix. Pour into king ice-cube tray and place piece of candied ginger in liquid. Freeze overnight. For preparing the cocktail, pour two parts of Reposado tequila over large ice cube in a rocks glass. Garnish with lime twist.


1 part Maker’s Mark® Bourbon

1 part Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

1 part JDK & Sons™ O3 Premium Orange Liqueur

¾ parts Light Agave Nectar

Method: Fill a tall glass with all ingredients. Shake and strain over ice in highball glass. Salted rim is optional.
