Making cocktails for summer can be a lot of fun when you have some great products to work with. I have been tasting and mixing some really fun cocktail additions this summer and have fell in love with this really delicious fizz called Glish!
Glish is one of the coolest “Universal Fizz” canned beverages out there right now. This company signifies togetherness and is infused with ginger to uplift and refresh you. The Shah family during the pandemic started experimenting with different beverages that included a household staple item, ginger. After several attempts, Glish was born and and they came up with some pretty amazing flavors.
Sometimes you want something sparkling for your cocktail or mock-tail and Glish is the way to go! They have three really delicious flavors including Yuzu Ginger, which you will see I made into a cocktail on Instagram Reels. They also offer Chai Spice Ginger and Mango Ginger which stay tuned, some delish Glish cocktails for those are coming soon!
If you also just enjoy something non-alcoholic and ginger flavored with a bit of pizazz then Glish is for you!
As you may have seen on Instagram, I have been making some cocktails with Glish, and let me tell you, they’re awesome! Glish adds a lightness and really nice effervescence to your cocktails and mock-tails.
The Yuzu Ginger was a fun one, combined with Mezcal, Cilantro Lime Syrup, and Hibiscus Syrup. I call it the Summer Yuzu Sparkler, and it was wow!
1.5oz Mezcal
1oz Marie Brazard Yuzu
.5oz Cilantro Lime Syrup
TT Yuzu Ginger Glish (about 3oz)
1.4oz Hibiscus Syrup
You can see it all here in my REEL. Be sure to make this when it’s warm, it’s really refreshing!
I also recently tried the Mango Ginger which I loved as an improved upon Collins Style cocktail!
Mango Ginger Collins
1.5oz Gin
1oz Lemon Juice
3.5oz Mango Ginger Glish
Cherry + Lime Slice Garnish
In a shaker with ice, combine gin and lemon juice. Strain into a tall glass with ice and then top with mango ginger Glish.
Pair this one with some really fun shrimp cocktail, some chips and dip, or something you’d enjoy by the pool or on the patio with. It’s refreshingly light, it’s slightly sweet but not too sweet, and has the perfect hint of ginger.
The Chai Ginger Spice was also really fun but after all these cocktails, I was ready to have one on its own. This really made me think of end of summer/fall and while walking around the store I saw Tates Pumpkin Spice cookies and I was sold!
If you’re seeking something new, delicious, and are looking to support a small business, then you should absolutely try Glish. I have only just begun to enjoy these and absolutely see myself getting more in the future, also I can’t wait to see if they come out with more flavors!!
Always remember, eat what you like and drink what you love. Please pair responsibly.
