Champagne_Laurent_Perrier_Brut_Cuvee_Rose_NVRosé, a wine known for its many forms of pink color and alluring aromas and flavors. A wine that to some is just pink wine, full of ripe red fruit, but to me is a wine style that will always be in my heart. For those of you that do not already know, I Love Rosé! I love the array of pink shades it presents it’s self in, the aromas of bright fruit that dance in your nose, and the bold flavors of strawberry, cherry, and raspberry that envelope your mouth, and play games with your taste buds as you try to taste, analyze, and pair these wines.

While at Murray’s Cheese, sitting in on a class featuring sparkling wines and cheese pairings, there was a wine that needed its own mention, a wine so beautiful I will be dreaming of it for weeks to come, or until I get my hands on another bottle. This wine is Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé. Salmon pink in color, with striking notes of fresh red fruits and cherries, this blend of a wine is absolutely stunning. Using the skin contact maceration method, this wines fruit forward characters follow all the way through to the palate, expressing fresh strawberries, raspberries, and currants.

This wine was beautiful with almost all of the cheeses we tasted, and would even pair with seafood pasta, or fried fish or vegetables if you were to make your own pairing at home. Sparkling wines and fatty dishes are perfect together, and this wine is one you will want to have in your home. Why not make your own fun pairing?
