Friday, November 14th you can attend a one of a kind tasting led by Roca Patrón expert and mixologist Josh Mazza. Here he will guide you through a tasting of some new artisinal small batch tequilas. It is a very intimate seating of eight people, that way you can really experience the tastes, pairings, and process that goes into these new small batch artisinal tequilas.
Guests will be at the convivial communal table overlooking Fifth Avenue at Clement Restaurant & Bar. Josh will introduce participants to Roca Patrón Silver, Reposado and Añejo (one glass of each per taster). He will go over and describe the labor-intensive, centuries old “tahona” process that makes these tequilas so special. You will get the chance to taste how distinctively earthy and complex they are.
This is a special tasting, as it’s a process that has been let go by most tequila makers in favor of modern crushing methods. Now, of course what would a tasting be without a welcome cocktail and some light bites to pair? Clement’s Chef, Brandon Kida will prepare tequila-inspired tapas for guests to enjoy during their tasting.
Make your friday night extra special and reserve your seat. These spots go fast because the price is great, so be sure to hop on this “tequila-licious” opportunity!
