The second Saturday in June is reserved for one of my favorite days of the year, National Rosé Day! Rosé wine, with its blush hue and refreshing taste, embodies the essence of summer in a glass. Whether enjoyed al fresco on a warm afternoon or paired with a gourmet meal, rosé wine effortlessly captures the spirit of celebration and camaraderie, making every sip a moment to cherish. Here are some of the rosés I will be celebrating with this year!

Lorgeril Ô de Rosé: A gorgeous Languedoc wine! Certified High Environmental Value and made with 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 10% Viognier, this beauty is a ton to offer on these warm summer days. The vines are nestled against the Massif Central with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean. There is a ton of diversity of terroirs in this region which help create complex wines like this one. The clear lychee hue is so attractive with aromas of red currant, dried rose, and citrus. It’s fresh and elegant and everything you could want for National Rosé Day! $20

2023 Domaine Bousquet Rosé- A gorgeous organic wine from Argentina from a well-known and loved winery. The grapes go through some ups and downs climate wise but this creates really elegant complexity and a really enticing wine. It’s pale salmon in color with striking notes of fresh acidity, fresh cherries, and orange peel. No oak and some French “flair” this wine is one not to miss for National Rosé day! $11.99

Corvezzo Prosecco DOC Rosé- A stunning bottle for a stunning wine! Hints of red berries, flowers and delicate spice dance on your palate following through to a well balanced and savory finish. It’s an organic prosecco which is ideal and this wine is so fun to sip in the summer sun. Pair this with some parmesan fries, grilled veggies, and or a caprese salad! $16

2023 Mother Vine Rosé Not only is the bottle a conversation piece, but the juice is really wonderful! It’s crisp, clean and balanced with nice rhubarb and raspberry notes. Some tropical guava can be found in the nose but the finish is just clean and refreshing and so delightful. It’s certified organic, sustainably farmed, and all estate grown by Shannon Family Wines. What’s cool about this winery is their still a homestead with a hand dug well, a small vineyard, and it’s all about family and the Mother Vine brought from Croatia back in 1870. $38

2020 Warson Rosé- From the Santa Ynez Valley, CA,  this bold strawberry colored wine will shine at your table this summer! Grapes sourced from the Malibu coast, this very local wine is 100% Grenache and displays nice strawberry and watermelon aromas and flavors, this wine is very “Los Angeles” and really celebrates the long agricultural history. Besides being delicious and very unique for my usual roundups, this wine goes well with everything from Buratta and Beet Salads to Seafood, to Grilled Steaks and everything in between; it’s so pair-able! $24

Now, just because you have wine doesn’t mean you’re fully prepared for all your entertaining needs. Want to enjoy some time outside and also not worry about your wine going warm? Snowfox has some incredible insulated carafes, ice buckets, and chill-able wine glasses that I deem essential for celebrating National Rosé Day and frankly, all year long. The Ice Bucket in shimmer blue with the tongs is simply stunning! It makes the perfect addition to your edible entertaining needs and keeps cool in that hot sun. I used this outside on one of our hot TN days and let me tell you, it kept everything so cool. I love that it comes with a lid as well as tongs, and is just an ideal color for those who love a bit of sparkle and shimmer. They also have beautiful wooden looking ones, black, and also a marble for those wanting to match their home to a bit of something more rustic or modern. The stainless steel sauvignon blanc glassesI also made sure were in the order because they work so well keeping my wine chilled. I pop them in the fridge or freezer before I pour my wine and they not only help my hands stay cool, but they’re stylish especially in black and rose gold. Last but certainly not least are the carafes I mentioned in the beginning which are great and can store a whole bottle of wine, so if you wanted to keep your beverages (any really) cool and be a bit incognito, this is the tool to do so. They also now come with a great carrying strap for extra ease!

Some other fun wines to try, because there’s always more to try:

Domaine Bousquet Sparkling Rosé-This Charmat Organic rosé is an absolute must for your rosé day! The vines are located at the foothills of the Andes in Argentina. It’s 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay and is a unique wine because how many sparkling wines are you really drinking and seeing from AR… right? I guarantee you’re going to love this paired with a great pool day, popcorn, or maybe some grilled meats like they enjoy in Argentina! Either way the delicate bubbles, red fruit, and citrus is just delectable and easy to pair with all your favorite foods. $15

Gaia Pinot Noir Rosé-From the Mendoza province, this other Argentinian rosé is made from Pinot Noir grapes and is vibrant with white peach and flinty notes. It’s a striking wine with beautiful strawberry and stone fruits that lead to a crisp and clean finish making it ideal for grilled fish, salads, flank steak, and if you’re keeping it casual on the grill… a good ol’ hot dog or burger! The acidity on this wine is playful, it’s so refreshing and really a wine you won’t want to miss at all in this hot summer sun. $19

If you’re traveling to a friend’s or enjoying rosé day in the park, I love always having some of my PackIt lunch tote’s as well as the bento boxes on hand. They’re so versatile, they come on all my road trips, and always have room to hold and keep my wine snacks cool for hours. I use PackIt cooler bags for grocery runs, holding my cold wine, in which it can hold up to 6 bottles! I love the 12 can tote to hold my bento boxes full of crackers, cheese, grapes, and anything pair-able with my wine, while the lunch boxes are ideal for holding my olive oils, tapenades, and other items that don’t fit in my bento’s.

The Bento’s are great if you’re planning a picnic, beach day, or simply like a lot of snacks like I do when driving and entertaining. They stay compact, even liquids stay in tact and they easily fit into all your PackIt coolers, your purse, beach bag, diaper bag, and more. You never have to worry about ingredients you don’t want mixing as well as drips, slips, or spills.

To keep things fresh in the fridge, I always suggest The Blu Apple products. They were nice enough to help me keep things fresher now that I have a garden of my own and I got to try the Fresh Mat, the Veggie Bags, and the Blu Apple to keep my fruits and veggies fresher longer. They last a while in your fridge and so far, I am impressed. If you’re entertaining or simply enjoy keeping things fresher and you have a lot of ingredients in your fridge like me, then you’ll want these!

Now to make sure you have everything you need and if you’re not hanging out, outside then you’ll absolutely need these Riedel Official Venice Rosé glasses. They’re ideal for today and everyday, and make drinking this delicate pink wine that much more fun. I always make sure to break them out when enjoying rosé it creates such an elegant sipping experience! You can find these on my Instagram page HERE

Always remember, eat what you like and drink what you love. Please pair responsibly!
